Every Day
Every Day
PVC, chair, desk, print paper and cardboard, plastic cup and aluminum cans, bedsheet, string, book.
In the closing months of the academic year, time slips by if we aren’t too careful. To that end, I created Every Day, a participatory art installation made of PVC pipe and various discovered material. By changing this very literal frame of reference’s location, contents, and audience prompts, the audience is asked to reflect on their own personal experience and share it anonymously. Example prompts included draw a favorite sound, take a photo, or write a poem in a hollow book in the library. The photos below include some of the responses collected from the installation.
